A beautifully presented extending dining table, sourced from a private estate in Canberra, believed to be at least 80 to 100 years old.

Crafted in the timeless Regency style, the table features a generous rectangular top with elegant rounded D-end corners, finished in rich, deeply figured mahogany with a warm honey-to-chestnut tone. The top has been fully restored and hand-polished to a high gloss, showcasing beautiful natural grain and patina built up over decades. As with any genuine antique of this age, there are a few slight imperfections remaining from its original condition — all very hard to notice and part of its authentic character and history.

Extendable design: Standard size is 190cm x 115cm wide. With the extension panel inserted, the table opens out to a generous 235cm — perfect for larger gatherings, while comfortably suiting everyday use at its standard size.

The table stands on four elegant tapered, receded legs — a hallmark of the Regency design tradition — finished with original brass cap castors, allowing the table to be moved with ease while adding a refined decorative touch.

Includes six genuine matching dining chairs, each featuring the classic shield-back design and freshly reupholstered with brand new seats in antique brown Italian leather.
